Lake associations share a collective voice with municipal governments and other non-profit organizations to ensure land and lake use adheres to the values of the lake’s inhabitants.

The Blackstone Lake Cottagers Association (BLCA) aims to communicate, educate and inform regarding stewardship issues and best practices pertaining to living or cottaging around Blackstone Lake.

The BLCA is a member of the the Georgian Bay Association and the Federation of Ontario Cottagers Association with access to their resources and broader influence.
