Reminder - Input to Official Plan Amendment process (OPA71)
We have received a number of queries regarding the status of the Official Plan Amendment request that is pending, and how to now submit feedback.
We are told the Township review of the applications is ongoing and that the item is not on the Agenda for Council in September. The earliest it could be considered is October.
All comments received thus far have been shared with the consultants. (including the BLCA submission available on our website).
Any additional comments can be submitted to Cale Henderson (chenderson@thearchipelago.on.ca) and will will be shared with the consultants. Individuals are encouraged to submit comments as soon as possible to ensure they are considered.
Many cottagers maynot even be familiar with the upstream portion of the river. We share a video that many have found informative - showing both the environmental considerations but also what some would view as an attractive development possibility.
